Privacy policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This page explains which data this website processes, why and for how long. We follow the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies to guests from the EU, the GDPR. No ads, and we never sell data.

Visiting the website and hosting

The website runs on the Ploy platform and is delivered through Cloudflare's network. Every visit creates technical logs such as IP address, time, page and browser. They keep the site running and secure.

The site's images are stored with Google Cloud Storage, so Google sees your IP address when they load. The fonts are served from our own server.

Visitor statistics and cookies

We count visits with Ploy's statistics to see how the page is doing. We do not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

  • With your consent: one analytics cookie (ploy_anon_id, 1 year) that recognises returning visits.
  • Without consent: visits are counted with an ID that changes every day. A cookie (ploy_consent, 180 days) remembers your no.
  • We count whether an RSVP was sent, with its language and answer (in or maybe), but without name or email.
  • We count whether a camp application was sent, with its language and crew size, but without name or email.

Only on your device

Some things are only kept in your browser's storage. They are not sent to us unless you choose to upload something. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.

  • your language and your cookie choice
  • your first name after you RSVP, so the rave llamas carry your name
  • your game best score and your ranking board name
  • how many strawberries you threw on the party wall
  • the delete key for your own wall photos

RSVP

When you RSVP, we process your name, email address, whether you are coming, whether you want to earn the llama driver's license and your message. The RSVP is stored with Ploy and forwarded to us by email.

We use this data only for the guest list and to send you party information. We delete it at the latest 12 months after the party. The legal basis is organising the party you sign up for.

Collective camp application

When you apply for a collective camp, we process your camp's name, the size of your crew, the contact person's name, email address and optional phone number, and your answers about sleeping, equipment, power needs and your idea. The application is stored with Ploy and forwarded to us by email.

We use this data only to plan the camps and to reply to you. We delete it at the latest 12 months after the party. The legal basis is planning the camp you apply for.

Selfie booth

The camera runs only in your browser. Your selfie is made on your device and stays there. Nothing is uploaded unless you hang it on the party wall yourself.

If you share your selfie through an app, it goes straight to the app you pick, under that provider's rules.

Party wall

The party wall is public and optional. A photo only goes up when you explicitly confirm it. Only hang up photos that everyone in them agrees to.

  • We store the photo, a small preview, the name you enter, the number of strawberries thrown at it, reports and an encrypted check value of your delete key.
  • To prevent abuse, at most 6 photos per hour are possible. For this we store a one-way check value made from IP address and date, never the IP address itself.
  • You can delete your photo at any time from the device you uploaded it with, or ask us by email.
  • After 3 reports a photo is hidden until we have looked at it.
  • Photos are stored in Ploy's database. We delete them at the latest 12 months after the party.

Ranking board

If you add yourself to the ranking board after a round, we store the name you choose and your points. Both are visible to everyone. We delete the board at the latest 12 months after the party. An email is enough for earlier deletion.

Who else sees the data

We only share your data with the service providers this website needs: Ploy (website, RSVPs, database, statistics), Cloudflare (delivering the website) and Google Cloud Storage (images). These providers may also process data outside Switzerland, for example in the USA. Where a country lacks adequate data protection, we rely on the safeguards the FADP provides for, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask at any time which data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. You can object to processing and withdraw a consent, such as for the analytics cookie, at any time. Just send us an email.

You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Guests from the EU can contact the data protection authority in their country.

Changes

If the website or the party changes, we update this policy. The version on this page applies.
